I think it is Viv you will need to see, I'm not sure what the maximum pixel size is on here, sorry!

Pitva - your pic looks fine on my widescreen monitor. But ideally you should resize to 1024 x 768 pixels.

I do this using photoshop using a resolution of 150 pixels / inch.

Thanks both, guess I was nearly there and I'll also blame my rubbish monitor [iMac is beckoning me for next pay day!] and I'll use 1024 from now on.

Cheers, Pitva

I'm sure others will do better, but here are a few of my efforts from yesterday - apart from a bit of cropping they are straight off the camera (ycrta I know nothing about photoshop and havent the time!!!)

The file size limits are shown in the attachment key, at the point at which you upload photos from your computer, in the pop-up window:

Name: key.gif
Views: 699
Size: 20.8 KB

For web images, you also do not need to resize at any higher than the web standard of 72dpi, to which Photoshop defaults anyway.
Higher values will only lead to longer download times, with no improvement in web image quality- it's only of any use if you intend printing an image.

Didn't realise a bunch of you were going to Goodwood - had a cracking day there yesterday! Plus I'm only a few minutes from Wisley, so would have enjoyed the journey down.

Next time.....
