Too Soon for Claim?

Hey guys! So here's my situation. Just purchased a 08' E92 and purchased a the Route 66 Easy Street extended warranty through my credit union. I've put a little over 2K on the car in the matter of 2 months. The car has 68K and I'm experiencing all the signs of a failing turbo. I pull up to a light and I smell burning oil, blue smoke clouds during warm up and occasionally during normal driving.

Is it possible for the extended warranty company to deny my claim due to the short amount of time I've owned the vehicle? I'd rather tough it out for a few more months than get denied.

Any suggestions?

-Nick

They will probably give you a hard time since it's an expensive repair, but they should cover it. Their waiting period is 1k 30 day, so you're over that.

The only thing I would worry is that they would try to blame it on a pre-existing condition. Just make sure you read through their policy and follow all their guidelines for a claim exactly.

If I'm not mistaken the turbos are warrantied until 82000, I would remove your mods and take it to the dealership and see what they say

The turbos are warrantied for failure due to wastegate rattle, not for any other type of failure.
