Anyone in Canada got the new version 32.2 done for their car...it is supposed to remove the trubo lag...i know its available in the U.S as of Jan. 09...i'm givin in my car soon for service so i want to tell them to do it if it is...thnx.

there's ppl saying that it reduces the lag definately but has more ECU detectability...

It can be tricky to request the update as well. Apparently there is the 'lag-fix' and the 'rattle-fix' versions even for the new version. I called Parkview and BMW toronto 2 weeks ago and they are not aware of the fix. Has anybody actually got confirmation that it is available in Canada? If this fix is for US only, can we take our cars to a US dealer? Is the canadian warranty covered there?

+1 for some info on this...My e92 seems to suffer both of these symptoms and i've got a scheduled oil change coming up, so i wouldnt mind doing the update as well if available.

i believe parkview has the updated program..dont know how you can request to have it upgraded though

ok i just spoke to the service guy @ bmw of mississauga and he didn't evn know what a program 32.1 or 32.2 was but he told me to ask the service manager when i go in on monday for my lights...so yea, i'll let u guys know what they say

i talked to the head service guy at brian jessel and it seemed like he didnt know what i was talking about. I guess that means its not here?? why would the states get it and not canada thats weird

I am bumping this thread hoping that someone out there in the GTA already got their software update with the turbo lag fix. If so, please post or PM me the info of the dealer and SA name that is knowledgeable about the problem and willing to do the update without much hassle. I have been stuck with the dreaded lag for over a year now and it's frustrating.

I'm in Montreal and recently "purchased" my upgrade (latest ISTA/P 35.4.0.2). Prior to that I've run with 25.X for 2.5 years, witch was a great lag free version for MSD80. The new one however is MUCH better in every way. Here is my recent thread about it:

i got my car updated to the newest software last time my car went in for service. it was done at bmw durham. programming will take an entire day usually

nothing related to turbo lag..but I'll ask if the dealer will update my software based on this rear speaker buzz problem on MY08 with USB or ipod integrated
