loud clank when turning wheel right
I am hearing this loud clank when turning the wheel all the way right towards the passenger side...It get to a certain point and clanks, I turn it back the other way and it clanks at the exact point everytime...I know its not the brake pads as some people have stated...There is no noise when I turn the wheel all the way left towards drivers side...I was looking at the suspension the other day when I was installing my DPs and I noticed the tie rod at the connection looked like it was out of its joint, does a broken tie rod make this clunk, clank noise if broken...

i have this exact same problem, but it's intermittent. Only happens when i make sharp right turn. I'm dropped on kw2 and it only started doing this recently. Let me know if you figure out what it is.

I assume you're talking about the FK sway bar endlinks that lots of people had problem with...if thats gone then yes you'll get clunking noise.

Hmmm...I will try to see if that will work, but I am almost positive that the bolts are tight...It only makes this noise when I turn the wheel to the far right and it doesn't happen when I turn it to the far left from the center position..

Just got it checked out today and its the endlink that is loose on the passenger side and the joint seem to be messed up from it being loose...THe nut on it seems to be getting loose with all the bumps and stuff....The drivers side bolt was also relatively loose, but not to the point where its clunking just yet...I have to speak to SPP to see if they can send me over a new pair of REVISED endlinks..It seems as though when I got the kit exactly a year ago, the endlinks have been updated to some new and better ones which is suppose to solve this issue....I only have 3000 miles on them since the install last year...
Other than this problem with the endlinks, the FKs have been perfect as to the quality of the handling and ride....I hope I can have this addressed ASAP... |

It was the endlinks that were defective on my FK coilover suspension, I don't have the KW and I am not sure if KW replaces the endlinks, if not I would think the OEM endlinks are broken because I read somewhere the endlinks need to be shorter than the OEM ones, or vice versa not sure but the FK coilovers comes with replacement endlinks which I think KW systems don't..I replaced them with new redesigned endlinks from FK which I had to pay out of pocket for the new design...Its been over 2000 miles on them since the change and the problem has not come back

The front endlinks, they attach the sway bar to the front struts......
