best COMPLETE coilover setup?

Complete as in the coilovers for the front suspension already come w/ the top plates(or camber plates) already installed and will NOT require taking apart the factory suspension to steal components off of.

Which brand do people mostly go with? BC? Megan? Even TEIN? Seems like the Japanese/China/Taiwan products are mostly complete assemblies..

I'm halfway through Ground Control kit install and quality of everything seems phenomenal! Can't wait to drive it.

You can also buy new strut mounts and other odd bits so you wouldn't have to take stock strut assembly apart.

Most people who can afford quality stuff go with KW. Next in line is ST (which is basically a KW derivative). However, i would suggest if you cant swing the price of the KWs, get some BC Racing coilovers. I have heard amazing things about them on other platforms, and many friends of mine use them on EVOs/STIs with great success.

But then again, its your decision

AST 4100's for the X Drive. It appears there is a wait for them, but I am told they are a slight step above the KW V3's.

We should groupbuy the Taiwanese coilovers that look like re-branded bc racing.

We can get em for 600-800 and it comes with everything, camber plates, pillowball mounts, a lot of adjustability, monotube shocks, good ride quality regardless of height, and lotssss of low if wanted. Seems like a win win.

HPA have a koni yellow w/swift springs combo that looks really really promising. Price wise it is not that expensive too compared to many coilover choices out there. Check it out!!

Ground control struts excellent in Street/School kit - pre-assembled, Yellows pre-adjusted. Eibach linear springs do good things vs. progressive. Name your spring rate - no prob. Their very fine camber plates also pre-installed.

The reviews of DA's look fantastic with regards to ride quality. How are the SA's w/ Swift 336F/672R w/thrust sheets in terms of ride quality for a daily driver?

(I actually already bought a set that I am looking to install the first week of June. )

Yup, you are correct. My order for the AST's were cancelled and went with the TCKR kit for the XI.

What is your goal for the car? Are you looking for a fun daily driver or a track weapon? Identifying this will help you figure out which set up to go with.

Then based on my experience I'd say a KW V1. Great feeling driving around town, still fun on the back roads, not super expensive, and can get nice and low for an awesome stance.
