sorry i just skim read the thread a bit, if you are upgrading the injectors, with a view to remapping the car to a 330d map i guess??

will you not need to replace the turbo also?

as an aside, i don't get why they make the injectors any different across the range.. it just surely increases production costs..

why not just control the difference electronically with the ecu?

maybe i'm just naive in these matters

yeah. the engine for 330d and 325 si the same except the injectors...
as you can see in the oem catalog ..turbo is the same

335d has different injections and turbos...

so basicily you can easy remap the 325d to 330d+chip. If you want more power - you need change injection, coz in the 325d are limited...but if you are satisfied with about 270ps for 325D you dont need to change anything ...just remap

2 paapaa: dont you afraid that when you change the injectors you should also change the intercooler and turbo?
coz more fuel needs more air, more air needs bigger turbo...that needs bigger intercooler :-(

Not exactly...

325d before 03/2010 production date is quite different to 330d.

production after 03/2010 is basically the same car, everything is the same! Including, turbo, injectors, inter cooler and etc..

A 325d lci with 204 bhp can be easy chipped to around 300 bhp.

its not so critical in new diesel engines to upgrade the intercooler.of course if you drive full throtlle for a long time...well maybe then its a different case.

for now OEM E90 intercooler is enough,but i will wait what tuner said after injector change.i am not sure but if i looked correctly my 325d has
turbo "Garrett GTB2260VK" and is said on web sites that can be used up to 350hp.well next week we will see, i am happy if they get the maqical 300hp
to my BMW.looks like the turbo is same as in E90 330D 231hp version

maybe some day i will go further because "my" tuner company has done 3l BMW diesel up to 345hp 900 nm
that mean several changes...clutch for sure and other BUT so what!?! i have time and i am not changing my car so if i have money i will go further hell yeah!

I traded my 325d msport in for a 320d se, and i really miss the noise of the 325, so if anyone is in doubt about the 325 - don't be, it's a great car

Final 233kw, 312hp .torque final 690nm.monster is born .
my family + full trunk of stuff well still passing by in 100/120km/h area was fun as hell!

1.DPF&catalysator replaced with straight pipe

from who did you get the injectors? are they brand new? or used?
who cut your dpf? is only the filter out or completly dpf ?
-how much for this remmap? Thx

dpf&catalysator are complitely off. tuners usually knows some other people who can cut off the dpf&cat and replace it with a straight pipe.

injectors are from used 535D E60.I searched and bought from Deutchland from a dealer who didnt speak english at all...

i will post videos, when i am at airport 11.6.
official 1 mile top end speed & 1/4 mile time.

Wow! That is very impressive... Especially compared to those cars! Will be interesting to see what can be done without all that wind.

I need to get myself some of those injectors I guess Did the tuner have any experience with what is the weakest link now that you are producing that much torque?

I am about to install a 250hp chip from Heinz. Does anyone here have experience with these programs?

According to a tuner i spoke to the NEW 325 in Current E92 is the SAME engine as the 330D with just mapping differences.

He mapped a newer 325D up to 291BHP same as the 330D

Injectors are the same now...

yes it was bad weather to get a good drag time...thank god it was as bad to other speeders too 2.7. if its good weather i have next change to try better time...

now the weakest point is turbo, it doesnt give more
BUT this is enough for me, if i want to have much faster car...i would buy 135i or 335d and tune....BUT not gonna buy because i have put so much work and time & money to car...and speed is enough.

Heinz did my 325D, up to 270HP and 550NM, it's a totally different car and a real monster but very driveable. I get about 39mpg with mixed driving.
Weakest link are the tires, replacing them more often is a result of the remap

It's very cool to read how far up some 325D's go, awesome

Impressive results!

I plan next week to send my ECO to Stefplus - PPE (Belgium) for a remap... He seems highly knowledgeable and has mapped 325d - to around 300 bhp and 700 NM.

I am just curious how much torque the AT gearbox can handle...I found information on the web stating that they are good for 600NM but many tuners go beyond that number.

Nice numbers too... Did they do a "special" program for your car, as they claim 250/500 on their website. Did they run it on a dyno after mapping?
