BTW, I am not close to the bumper like those other pictures show...I have more room between the exhaust..and the bumper bottom.

Oh yeah...and I think it must added at least 1,000 bhp to the car..I can definitely take Veyrons now...
Even though those pictures look otherwise, my exhaust doesnt touch the bottom of the bumper, rather it touches a lower corner and at that part I put the rubber tubing in place.

I know what Magna3 and all8up are talking about at the lower rpm ranges..and I am totally fine with that sound. It is just the loudest part of the exhaust. It sounds really nice folks....I am very impressed with the low weight of the unit ...and the sound. To me..it sounds like some modified porsches I have heard on track. I am very happy with my purchase..and will not change a thing.

It’s a drone (vibration) that occurs right around 2000 rpm. Now this drone only occurs under load and inside the cabin only. I guess it's to be expected with nothing but long pipes between the cats and the mufflers. Outside the overall volume hasn’t increased that much. Best way to describe it is a deep aggressive growl. No tin, no rasp.

As for the drone, the guy at the shop suggested putting in two 16” resonators along the straight portion of the test line. Any comments on whether this would help tone down the resonance?

I also have the same resonance with my UR--I have driven All8up's car and his seems to have less vibration and noise than mine at that RPM range. I'm also hoping that the issue can be resolved with resonators of some sort. The noise doesn't bother me too badly most of the time, but it literally makes my wife ill on extended trips, so I definitely need to address it. I'm just hoping it doesn't cost an arm and a leg to have resonators installed. Please let me know your results if you try the resonator approach--it should work. Otherwise, this exhaust is outstanding--it's a 400rpm band away from being perfect!

My other solution would be to hack your stock exhaust and reuse the secondary cats that mate up to the downpipe flange. Not sure if that would be equally as effective as the resonator approach.

I'm pretty sure they are 4" rolled tips btw.

So cats have an effect on dampening resonance? I spoke with the shop and they said they can open up the 2.25" inlets on the cats to match the 2.5" pipes. And it would be a cheap fix / 1 hour labor @$75.

Im looking for an exhaust for an e90.
Hey Waked You, you could put two cutuouts since you like the underground stuff. Have the stock sound, and the none stock to surprice.

That could work, but keep in mind you are sacraficing some performance for that since you are re-introducing a restriction.

I would use resonators to remove drone, cats are too restrictive. I am using 2 Autospeed mufflers and two 16" resonators in my exhaust, and i am removing the secondary cats.
