I springs on Xi
hey guys i've got 335xi coupe. And hated the gappy look of it. Then i bought H&R sports springs and loved the look but hated drive comfort
I must admitt that it concerns only xi cars, cause if you got 335i on 19' wheels it looks mormal and drives comfortly. So the question: is any chance to install i springs on xi and kill to goals LOOK + RIDE comfort??????? If someone use the same setup please answer!!!

the eibach springs for the 335i are a good mix of lowering the ride height and keeping the comfort level at almost stock. the eibach springs will not lower the car as much as the H&R sport springs but they are definitely more comfortable to drive on

So eibach definitely softer and more comfortable in comparison with H&R?

Can anyone recommend a good set of springs but for every day use? My 335 xdrive coupe m sport is my daily driver and I don't want it to be too low Being I live in bklyn. Now the car is sitting on 18*9 235s in the front and 18* 10 265 in the rear. For my taste the back really doesn't need a drop, but the front if I could would only lower it maybe .75 to an inch at best. Anything with that kinda drop without killing the ride i would def jump on. While it may look a little better, in my eyes the car is too expensive to have ride like shit, therefore I don't want too low a drop. Prefer the height of the reg 335i m sport. Total amateur when it comes to lowering cars so any info is much appreciated. Thanks.

Unfortunately i don't think you've got too many options.
i am using H&R and they are terrible in ride comfort, but look sexy. some folks say eibach are better so you can try them!!!

After driving an 09 328i m sport today with the exact same dimension tires as I have oem sounds like a good idea if possible. This car def held it's ground better than mine does.

Just note that there is no OEM xDrive sport spring available. You need to do some research and assume some risk of what may meet your needs. Good way to start is direct swap of from your C# springs to corresponding D# sport springs. Good luck.

I really liked the Eibachs, but they were too low for me since I drive north to ski country regularly during ski season. Therefore I just swap out to OEM sport springs. This gave me back about 1" of clearance from ground, but the ride seems bouncier and not as planted. I will do a little writeup later on.

Yes looking forward to a review as well would be much appreciated. Now onto my next two questions. First is there anything I can purchase besides springs that can help reduce the body roll as well as the bouncing up and down? And how do I post pics here? Thanks..

You might check out the "xdrive suspension compatibility" thread above. For roll, I might suggest the stiffer anti-roll bar. For the bouncing up and down, more searching and reading of prior threads might be necessary.
