I did both despite not having a tune yet. If you track upgraded/additional OC is a must. IC comes second and is more performance than longevity related IMHO.

Dropping IATs drastically will help with longevity.

I agree, but relatively speaking, wouldn't OC be first, and IC second for longevity if tracking?

I'd say they are both extremely important.

I would say both. Oil cooler for cooling of the oil. Intercooler for cooling of the engine. Both are necessary for long lasting.

Question

How do I accomplish such? What should I do to drop IATs drastically?
Thank you

Radiator is for cooling the engine.

(Intercooler is for cooling charge air.)

I would say FMIC hands-down if you have the stock OC. Upgrading the OC helps, but for longevity I think lowering IAT upwards of 50 degrees is pretty substantial for "helping" to keep the engine bay cooler. The turbos will appreciate the .5 psi drop compared to stock 1.5 psi drop as well. As a bonus, you will enjoy more power and for much longer (not constantly staying heat-soaked.

Change to a better oil, I prefer Redline. Lowered my oil temps 5-10 degrees on average. Also don't be afraid to put some "water wetter" in your radiator. Some say it helps and others not so much, but it can't hurt regardless.

BOTH!!! Maybe even an increased capacity radiator and hi flow fan. Turbo motor needs it unless you just drive like me
