Rear Folding Seat Removal

Hey,
Does anyone know how to remove the rear folding seats? I want to remove both the seats and seat backs for track days / autocrosses... I tried just pulling up hard like I used to do on my old X5 to remove the rear seat but it didn't seem to work.

Thanks,
Dave

Im not sure if fold down rear seats have the same removal process as non fold down. But fwiw when we were removing the rear seats, the bottom part (the part where you actually sit on) just comes off by lifting. Start from the left or the right and just lift up and keep working your way and it will come off with ease. The backing takes a bit more work. I dont fully remember the process. PM Longtran and he can probably help you since we did this a few times.

I've looked everywhere on how to do this. The only instructions are for the E90. Any help out there?

I would like to revive this thread because I have the same problem. I want to run my stereo wires for the alpine upgrade and would like to remove the folding rear seats in E91. And i mean the whole seat not just the sitting part. Please help?
