How much does one of those set you back then? (The truck, not the tyre)

And I think interior shots may be in order.

£80k+ I think. Be nice to afford one but will just have to carry on lining the gaffers pockets till I win the lottery ha ha. Will get some interior shots next week when I'm back in. It's basically an armchair on wheels

I bet they are quite affordable on a PCP deal

Does it have like a wee bedroom thingy behind the driver complete with scuddy women posters? I imagine all trucks have one of those.

It's got a bed which is soooo comfy. Built in fridge freezer and loads of cupboard space for all my gear. No scuddy women posters in mine mate just pics of the wife and kids to remind me of home when I'm on an overnighter which is only once or twice a week.

Sure it's not that bad. You must drive for one of the supermarkets do you?

The big question is.... Can you drift it? I want a Chris Harris style video review complete with slow mo sideways intro.

its strangely appealing!

when I was at school (20years back) one of friends dads owned a small fleet and a yard, they used to do doughnuts in the cabs and pull out the fuse for the speed limiter.
can you still do that or has modern technology put paid to all that?

You can donut them without a trailer but it is a bit hairy to be honest and I wouldn't recommend it. Not so sure on the limiter thing. I know you could in the old scanias but nowadays if you tried messing it would just put it in limp mode. I guess that's not a bad thing as the gaffer would give me more to do

This one is averaging 9mpg which is actually really good. Last one was 7.5 and when you think we can put 1000 litres in a week the saving will almost pay for the truck. Engine is a 13 litre 6 cylinder 500bhp. Would say around 2500 torque gearbox is a 16 speed auto which means no more gear jamming thank god. Top speed limited to 56 ish

Would love to see the turbo on that! Coming to truck racing at Brands Hatch? Usually on during the Autumn/Winter!
