Coilover adjustability: which brand is the easiest ?
I have done my part of the on this forum, but I probably stink at it...!
I'm finally going for coilovers on my E92 ~ 335i, but I still have my doubts about which brand to buy. It won't be used for track or street races, the main reason is get rid of the gap; but because of regulations here in Belgium, I have to be able to raise the car for the inspection, and of course drop it afterwards! Also, I'm planning on changing tires and probably need another setup too then... Which brand is the easiest one to adjust the ride hight (so that I can do this with 2 persons in a few hours without having to take the rear seat out and stuff like that; instead of throwing my money away every time a dealer or tuner or whatever would have to do it...). 1) KW (v1 or v2) 2) Eibach Pro Street S 3) (Bilstein) 4) H&R 5) ??? Please help me out with this, the experience of owners is so much more worth, than the info of the sellers themself, I guess... Thanks in advance!

The improvements made to the PSS10s (from PSS9s) seem to make dampening adjustment easier -- not sure which shocks are easiest to adjust height on.

I think H&R is the easiest for ride height

I'd say go for Bilstein!! Never had any problems with mine but had a lot of problems with the KW-shit in the past!

I meant to post it in just one, this one 'Suspension and brakes". But because I'm deciding on two things at the same time (new wheels and coilovers); I accidentally put it in the wheels and tires forum. When I noticed that mistake; I've immediately posted it on the right forum... And if you think I did it on perpose; just look at the times those threads are started by me; don't you think I would have done that at the same time than?? --> To the others, thanks for your opinions; I've got 1 x H&R and 1 x Bilstein. And I was told by someone that Eibach would be the easiest to adjust; (yes, I'm bald...). KW's haven't got my preference neither...

It doesn't get much easier this way, ...
I'm afraid the 'spring range' of the KW's is a little bit on the short site (max. 50 mm?); since that is only 35 mm lower than the stock E92 ~ 335i. And the remaining gap is hugh... Still hoping for an Eibach owner's experience...

for height adjustability, try to find something that will let you adjust height with the lower collet instead of messing with the preload and shock travel. I find that it's easy to unbolt the lower part of the suspension, spin to the desired height, and re-bolt as opposed to turning a collet against a spring 1/4 turn at a time.

The TEIN kit is a great for the street. Damper adjustment will take about 5 minutes to perform as you will need to jack up the car at the rear corners to gain access to the adjuster knobs. Front adjustment is perormed at the top of the strut through the engine compartment. Ride height is easy to adjust also.

KW V2 - AWESOME. I've had many friends go from TEIN, Bilstien, etc. and hcange over - and they love it. I adjust my suspension every now and then and its so easy to do. no going under the car or jacking it up. Plus the ride quality is perfect.
KW or BUST.
