Can you post the .csv file from the run? You will need to rename the file to .txt - for some reason i get an error trying to unzip your other attachment. |

@lorddrinkalot that's a little much for my taste for sustained boost (especially with OEM DPs), especially since 18 PSI is normal for the Stage 2+ (FBO) Maps

its not high. thats how cobb tunes. On low rpm is no issues plus is clearly a peak. tapers fast straight away.

Cobb retains the stock DME load targeting logic and will run the boost required to meet the requested load. Boost caps are in place to prevent over boosting the turbos and 18psi is within the turbo's efficiency range. If your having hot weather the car will run more boost to make the same torque output.

I attached 2 logs. I from today only 3rd gear (with new plugs and coils). The other one is from last saturday (only new spark plugs). I changed my spark plugs and coils so I have to do some more. |

Those logs look good, especially the 3rd gear pull. I dont know that i would be too concerned with the timing pulls on the first log unless they consistently occur. If they are, i would really consider trying a different brand of fuel/service station.

firmware question
So I got my cobb about a week ago and have been running stage one aggressive. I finally plugged the AP into the computer tonight and downloaded the latest firmware from may I think. So what does this update change exactly? It says one of the updates was fixing a bug? What was this bug and do I now need to reload stage one agressive into my ecu again to have the updated version? Not sure how all this works....

maps are always the same so if you are running V401 beta no need to do anything. If you are running V301 give V401 a go.

I got my Cobb AP I bought from another user. First thing I did was install the AP Manager on my computer and delete all the maps from the AP. I downloaded the Stage 1 aggressive with linear throttle for my vehicle, plugged the AP into my car and when I selected install, there was a list of EVERY map available on the AP.
I'm really confused because I deleted all the maps, and when I connected the AP back to my computer, it only shows the one map I downloaded (I even changed the filter to "all files"). The one thing I noted was that it listed two Stage 1 aggressive w/ linear throttle maps on the map when I had it attached to my car. I'm assuming one of them was the one I downloaded. Are all the maps for all the roms preloaded on the AP and stored in a hidden folder that don't show in the AP Manager? I'm really confused right now. Any help would be much appreciated.

Correct, my buddy is running that on his 007 e90 (S1 + Sport). Has no issues and loves it. he was getting about another 20+ pony's from Stage 1 Sport. But with 91 octane, not 93.

They work fine for most, but others (like myself) have more issues with 4.01 than with 3.01. I only got boost oscillations with 3.01, on 4.01 I get oscillations, overboost, throttle surge after letting off the throttle, etc. |

Here's an important note in the User Guide you may have missed:
NOTE: The AccessPORT must to be installed on the vehicle before it can be connected to the AP Manager software. Quote:

Do you get codes too (and if so, which?), or it just seat of the pants / doesn't feel good?

I ran with a 5.0 mustang the other day. And I lost about one car length, had a passenger in my car though.
However, I noticed that on 3rd gear around 6000 rpm there feels like there is little or zero boost going. I thought my car had a little more, but it wasn't accelerating as hard anymore. I have DPs, intake running stage 2 drive (didn't have my cobb to switch). Was this cause the map was on drive? I never run my car hard, so I haven't tried simulating the same thing. Also, I get random boost oscillations still while cruising and trying to pass someone. Any one experience this?

CBE
On the beta maps, there is a CBE category. Does that stand for cat back exhaust? On the stage one agressive + fmic it says CBE suggested for 135i but Any for other cars? What's different about the 135i that you would need a cat back exhaust but not on the 335i? Also, I just need an fmic and 93 octane to run this map right?

The 135 exhaust system is more restrictive that the 335 exhaust, which is why it's a Suggested Upgrade for the 1-er but not for the 3 For Stage 1 Aggressive + FMIC, the Requirements are the tune & an FMIC. An upgrade intake (even if it's just a drop in filter) would also be a smart investment. Data log with the Sport tune 1st, if the logs are good then bump to Aggressive & log again to make sure you're good to go |
