Northwest BMW in Owings Mills!

Hey guys-

I'm primarily on bimmerforums but been registered for awhile and haven't really posted all that much. Just wanted to introduce myself.

I have a 1994 Hellrot 325is Sport Package with Bilstein PSS9 coilover suspension, BMW Motorsport X-brace, UUC StrutBarbarian (original version), Autothority chip, Autothority CF intake, Dinan Big Bore TB, UUC Pulleys, UUC SSK, Rogue Engineering DMS Exhaust. Previously had a Cinnabar Red E30 325es.

I had autocrossed for several years (2002-2005), been to several DEs (BeaveRun, Summit Point Raceway Main Circuit and VIR Full Course), and to the drag strip a few times.

Picked up a new E92 335i back at the end of May: Jet Black with Saddle interior-ZSP, ZPP, ZCP and iPod integration from Northwest BMW.

Let me tell you, I love this car! It does everything I want and does it well and in comfort. I was thinking that my 335 couldn't handle as possibly well as my E36 but to my surprise, it is a very nimble car. I took out my 325is the other day and yes, it does handle a little bit better, but in terms of turn in, my 335 seems better. And of course there's difference in power. My 325 feels like a slug compared to this car.

It was well worth the wait! I ordered it back in late March and got it within reason. Northwest BMW was VERY easy to deal with and I worked with Louis Robinson on the deal. Louis always made sure that I was in the loop-with e-mails and phone calls. I would naturally bug him as I got antsy waiting for the car and he always made sure I knew what was going on. Even when I test drove the car, there was none of that sales pressure everyone dreads. Everyone there was incredibly friendly and accomodating. If anyone here is looking for a car, definitely give him a call over there.

I'm not associated with Northwest in anyway, I'm just a very satisfied customer.

Here are some pics of my car (only have a few).

Does everyone still do the "meet" thing? I used to go to the Starbucks off of 355 back in my DTMPower days with everyone (like 5 years ago).

I actually wouldn't mind checking out other people's 335s, I still have no idea how to use half the stuff in the car (a slight exaggeration)-the manual isn't the greatest book in the world.

Thanks for the welcomes!

We meet from time to time.
Just check the threads for a meet invitation.

couple of coming meetings (none confirmed):
1) somebody's house (maybe mine) to install Johnjohn's 162 rims
2) to the movies to see Transformers, eat burritos, calamari, wings, cooch, etc.

And you should get in touch with Iatacs or me to get your e90post sticker for your car.

I had been a member of BMWCCA NCC Chapter since 1999. I let my membership lapse like last year or the year before. I gotta re-new it.

I used to go to all the NCC autoxes (I know a lot of the guys there like Rafael, Stephen, Kevin, Pete, Eric, etc) and a couple social events but really got out of it in 2005-had no time -too much work.
