I haven't but I was at Bollinger's the other day trying to get them to spill the beans on other locations and he mentioned this as well as WaWa. I would assume they all get their E85 from the same supplier since they are few and far between.

Is Bollingers a reliable source now? I have gone back in a month there. Wawa won't open until feb, but that's great news !

My timing corrections were due to old plugs. Jake @ PTF seems to think the E85 was fine as plugs cleaned up the corrections.

Looks like wawa's and Thornton's will be sprouting up soon around the bay area...approx 10 for thorntons and 8 for wawa...e85 users rejoice! !!!! This is amazing...I see 100% blends in my future

Will definitely be more convenient not having to rush to Bollinger's after work to get gas before 6:00.

Saw this on my way home from practice on Sunday and was wondering the same thing. This might sway me to think about E85 blends since Thorton's is much closer than Bollinger's.

Tried a 50/50 blend...at 2.99/gal its relativity cheap.

Avg ignition correction value = 0

17.8 peak psi @ 5000rpm

Fuel trims are about where they should be, and power is there.

I would say it's a reliable source.

Price isn't bad compared to Bolinger's at $3.79.

Decided to give Thornton's a try last night since I was still getting timing corrections from Bollinger's E85. I didn't get a chance to log last night but will get a few pulls in after work to see if they clean up.

Thornton's E85 cleaned up my timing a ton. Still a few corrections in Cyl 5 & 6 but I am still in the middle of being pro tuned. He will make those go away with the next revision.

I am going to order a test kit to see what the difference is between Bolinger's and Thornton's. Also, I drove through the WaWa lot the other day which is being built and set to open in February and I did not see any E85 pumps.

None of the Wawa's near me, springhill NPR area no E85. That makes me sad.

Please do, the minimum I can run with bollingers is 12psi with less than 1 degree correction.

I can run a full 50/50 @ 18.7psi peak @ 3,500rpm with Thornton's with 0 corrections.

Also your bollingers log looks like mine in regards to correction on cylinder #1, it's dissapointing. Forum member Gohr sent me logs of both bollingers and thorntons as well, he had multiple corrections on one of them, i'm sure you can guess which one

The log I took last night had zero corrections. I just ordered the E85 test kit and will post the results when it comes in. My guess is that Bolinger's E85 is going to be very close to the 70% level.

I sourced some E85 from a place in Tampa that stores it for personal use of cars, I believe they said they get it from Bollinger

I ran 5.5 gallons for a full tank of 93 mix. I did get some timing corrections but under 3 degrees.

I'd like to get a bigger storage tank and try thortons since its a bit of a drive.

The car feels great, I'm watching my logs closely. I did have to tune out some throttle closures but they were minor.

My STFT was no more than about 15% positive. Tried to increase scalar to about E35 but just like you say that test kit might be worth the investment for $20-30 bucks to be a little more specific.

My immediate requirement is I'd like to try to tune out my timing drops after a gear change. It's a AT, goes from 15 degrees to about (-15) after the shift. (IJEOS).

Not much of a drop in mpg's - I was expecting a larger decrease as I drive about 70 miles a day.
Did you have a black 335 that visited us this week?

If so, great meeting you and thank you!

I have been running an E45 map for a couple of months now and my MPG has only dropped by about 2. I should have the test kit early next week and will let you know what the results are. I'm sure Jake@PTF will increase timing on the next revision since my last log was clean.

There is now a Thornton's on the corner of Starkey and Ulmerton which is much closer to me. It must have just opened because their own web site doesn't even recognize the store.
