Forgot to post pics.
I finally installed my base rack. I still haven't gotten around to putting the bike rack & front wheel rack. Probably this weekend. I still need a fairing/ wind deflector. I prefer it to line up parallel/ flush with the roof line and no embedded stickers. Any size/ brand recommendations? 44inches?

What fairing are you wagon guys running? I would like to get a setup, but I don't want it to be ridiculously loud, and if like to still be able to enjoy the panoramic roof.

Hey all,
New to the forum here. Just purchased a 2011 335xi few weeks ago. Finally got to take her out on the open road. So much fun to drive. She will be getting a good wash after this trip. Roads were so dirty up at Windham Mountain. Attached are a couple crappy iPhone pics I snapped. OEM bars with Thule 92726 carrier. |

help with Thule wind fairing
Trying to install an 872xt fairing. I've seen it done (with and without modification). I can't get the small plastic clips around my OEM load bars. I have it on but I don't know about it. I've tugged on it and it doesn't budge but it doesn't look secure. Any advice? I'll have a pretty expensive (to me) bike on the carrier and not really sure I want the fairing hitting it at 80mph.
Sorry for the dirty garage and car. The 2nd pic shows the clip I was referring to that won't go around the OEM bars. Any advice on how to make this work? Or do some have theirs like this and it works okay? Thanks |
