Today it warmed up enough to roll down the windows while driving around town. I noticed I could hear a noise from the front left wheel area when I hit a bump or went over a speed bump. I seemed like I could hear the strut compressing or rebounding. Is this normal, I say no since I only hear it from the front left.

I have a CPO 09 E90 with 22000. miles.

Mine does that. Sounds more like a swoosh though. 82k on the clock so mine is just needs replaced. Yours is seems a little too new for that.

Mine sound more like a light "pisstt pisst" when going over speed bumps. I didn't think it's anything to be concerned about.

Mine do it as well, 48k on the odometer when I bought the car. It now has 60k and still makes the same noise. I notices when Im pulling my car out of the parking garage when the car drop off to the next ramp.
