Those specs should work. Probably need a spacer in the back to keep the wheel off the shock.

as a reference, I run EC-7 18x10 ET25. When I didn't have a roll, i was able to run 265/35R18 without rubbing.

Do you think I could I just use my 15mm spacers and run a 255/35 tire and still not rub?
sorry if i might be asking a dumb question, Im still learning how offsets work.

255 will be a little bit of a stretch but should be OK. 15mm spacer will bring the ET40 to a ET25 so in theory, it should work.

it'd be best to try with an actual wheel tho.

by the way, i forgot to add that the front offset should be fine. my EC-7 in the front is 18x9 ET31 with 245/40R18.

Thank you for the insight. could you post a pic of your car with the wheels so i can have an idea of what the offset will look like? do you have suspension work?

sure. the first one is the EC-7 18x10 ET25 with a 5mm spacer and a Continental ExtremeContact DW 265/35R18. no rub.

Second one is without a 5mm spacer, EC-7 18x10 ET25 with BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW. i do rub slightly.

Both pics are after I had a mild rear roll. Lowered on Eibach Pro-Kit springs and OEM shocks+struts. It's about the same drop as ZSP...which is what my E90 had.

"UPDATE"
So I did a test fitment with out tires today (will load pics when i get the chance) and with 15mm spacers the rear wheels will fit and should sit ok with the right tire.

BUT the fronts were WAY more agressive then i thought. with out tires the front wheel is VERY close to the shock and from the outside it already pokes out slightly past the fender. any recomendations?

Yeah the 18x9 et29 is pretty flush with fender, but it will fit and if you tested it with car jacked up it doesn't really tell how it will look, when car is on the ground. You don't need to worry about inner clearance, it definitely isn't close to hit anything. I once had 18x9.5 et35 at front and it was 1-2mm away from stock shocks. Your wheel has 12mm more clearance than those had.

Rear will fit and wont need spacers for clearance purpose, but in my opinion it needs the spacer to match the front. I would use like 10-15mm at rear. Since you have 15mm you can use that, but no way to be sure whether it rubs or not. Most likely it will fit fine with the current stock sport suspension, but, if you lower it then it will need fender roll. 10mm spacer will most likely fit without rubbing.

Also if you use 255/35/18 at rear, then i recommend using 225/40/18 at front. You could also fit 235/40/18 at front, but then you have to use 265/35/18 at rear, because rolling diameters.

Yay! They look sharp. What tire specs did you go with? Rubbing?

They look like they might be really snug on an e92. Rear track on a pre-lci e90 is narrower and has more room right?

Thank you, Im not sure on the rear track size, but here is my current set up:

Front: 225/40/18
Rear: 255/35/18 (With a 15mm spacer to adjust the offset)

Im planning on going 265's in the rear within a month or so and will be
lowering it on H&R sport springs.

Looks great!

The slight stretch makes the rim look bigger. Both the stretch and the aspect make the sidewall a bit shorter. This M3 probably is running a taller tire, but it doesn't look as good as yours because of it:

I would probably go to 265 though, a bit more rim protection and a slightly better ride

Looks good, I'd love to pick up a set of those. Hoping some more used sets come on the market.

Thanks for the compliment! Thats the picture that actually inspired me to get the wheels. it looks like he has the stock M3/M4 tire set up, which does make the wheel look smaller. I swapped my 162 tires on to these and I love the look on the fronts.
