They will get it sorted out I'm sure. I'm thinking, is 25 whp worth one or two grand? I'm assuming this is for people who have nothing else left to mod. That said person is likely around 440 whp or somewhere in that range without n20... 465hp... Hmm. I can't really put my finger on this one. Or we've got RB turbos estimated to cost about 3k which are supposedly ASR-like. Should be good for 540... Thats 100 hp for 3k or 25 hp for 1000. Assuming its that cheap. If it costs more, the cost effectiveness of purchasing a smaller upgrade diminishes. I'm completely out in left field, which is the only place I can be while speculating with the given information. Anyone else have any input here? Even if the upgrade was 1000 dollars, which It likely will cost a bit more than that, these turbos would need to produce around 30+ hp gains to the rear wheels over stock peak performance in order to justify themselves. If they can do that, this upgrade would be most definitely a wonderful option. The problem, is I don't see them costing 1000 dollars. I think I'm dreaming here, someone tell me if my math is wrong cuz I'm getting sleepy I really hope these are siiiiick.

first and foremost, you have wrong idea about turbo upgrade in general.

these oem size turbo upgrade is more for reliability and actual power delivery, rather than #s on dyno... unless you slap in bigger turbo with tune/engine internal to support, yes, you will not see big of gain per dollar. however, with upgraded turbos, you don't have to worry about maxing out your oem turbos, you can push much harder, and you can expect much more potential gain with higher boost and supporting mods. oh yea, and you don't have to worry about wastegate rattle issue and that alone is worth upgrading for me...

if you go for the best bang for your money, go get tune/meth/n2o and call it a day. why spend money on intake, exhaust, IC or DP in the first place?

with that being said, kudos to JP and the tuner who's actually making it happen in REALISTIC time frame...
MUCH FASTER PACE than any other tuners who tried upgrading turbos on N54 platform...

Great to hear! I'm glad nothing blew up! With the new auto tune feature coming up, it will be interesting to take a look at the final performance results

I won't have any thoughts on it until it's broken in, you'll hear more about it tomorrow

I can tell you everything started up perfectly fine with no codes or errors of any sort. The car is smooth as ever (below 4000rpm's, where I'm keeping it for now).
