I did a quick install for my amp yesterday to make sure everything works but realized that the amp stays on for about a minute or so after I shut the car down.

I also noticed if the cars off and I turn on the headlights the amp also turns on. Is this normal and will it drain my battery? The amp eventually shuts off just not right away.

I used the PAC TRUNK output converter with a PG Ti600.2 amp. I didnt run a remote wire but instead used the auto sensing feature on the LOC. I tapped into one of the right sub wires which is probably why it stays on. However is this safe and will it effect my battery?

if it isnt playing, it shouldnt drain much power.

Dont think that applies to a pure class A amp though.

i wouldnt trust it. the same thing happened to me, but mine would blast madd loud, then shut off a minute later. i just ran a wire to the rear cig lighter. took ten mins

The coupe doesnt have a rear cig lighter, only front. Is there something else I can run it to thats closer?

doesnt it have one in the c.c? if not i think ur probably gonna have to go to the fuse box in the glove.
