Got a nudge from Will, thanks. Not sure I can fit this in. I've got a 924 turbo engine to rebuild after I broke it on lasts years Cotswold meet!!

I did ProDrive earlier this year. Fantastic tour. Well recommended.

The Aston build area is awesome. Here's what £350k buys you

I have Wills number so if I can fit it in I'll get in touch. Enjoy!!!

I have lots of pics from the prodrive tour which was ruddy awesome. Matt has footage of the drive so small pieces of that can go up once doctored I expect!

Over 200 miles of country roads on Saturday winding all through Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire. Superb superb drive.

Matt led brilliantly setting a very good pace and the jcw really shocked me! Ok it's a little slower than the 2 335's but only by the smallest amount. Foot to the floor until the big turbo kicks in there was nothing I could do! A great little car... And as said, leading on a drive like that is something I'd have no intention of ever doing myself. Brave stuff

So attendance. There were 3 cars. Bwahaha. But I don't care. The drive was the best I've been involved in I think. And the company was good.

I feel I added a certain something to the weekend personally heh and no doubt Matt and sean will be here in due course to rip the piss out of me for my many many fails... Hey every meet needs a class clown.. Glad to oblige. Errrrr hehe.

Cheers
Dave (who had to do a 2 hour drive home at 10pm as he booked the wrong hotel. As a small hint of my failings over this weekend. But at least I didn't run out of fuel! )

Prodrive tour was great.

Wish I could have joined in on Saturday too.

Next time!

Another great weekend - thanks again to Matt for organising! It was a small turnout (six of us for ProDrive then five for the drive on Saturday) but it worked very well. I learned I definitely need new rear tyres - <2mm tread depth on damp roads with a Quaife makes for much oversteery fun.

Nobody ran out of fuel and only one person booked the wrong hotel, so pretty good all in all!

Another great meet! Thanks to everyone who turned up. Small numbers, but a great time and some good driving nonetheless.

Highlights (though you would have had to be there to appreciate it all):

The carpark tour of Banbury. From the narrowly avoided >£5 for a couple of hours, to the city centre ones that close at 8pm!

Phil and his stories of daring deeds with a four foot chinese tow-rope.

Dave for not running low on fuel in the most econmical car this time. But for failing to read the instructions and booking the wrong hotel for the 2nd night. It was just a shame that there were so many festivals on in the area, so no room at any Inn.

Naomi for befriending Kermit.... and "Sheep!" "Cows!"

Sean using the rear-wheel steer option even on straight roads and the, "I've got a problem... I've just gone into limp mode."

The weather didn't play ball all the time, but we proved that you can still enjoy an ice-cream even on a hilltop with a thunder storm approaching.

...and last but not least - the Party Rock Zafira!

A couple of photos:

Dave's parking - The day after (it was clean the day before!) - 3er compact running out of ideas / talent - wet roads.
