Are you installing a FMIC? If so jack the car up and you can take it out from the bottom. One person can do it but helps having a second set of hands.

I used a screwdriver and wedged it under the clamp and just popped the clamp open. Worked fine on both sides.

im not sure about that part. With the VRSF intercooler you dont need to remove that. I'd say leave it in and test fit the intercooler to see if it lines up and fits correctly if not then remove it.

I took the pipe with the clamp out and wedged a baby flat head under it and pried it off at the seam. As for the radiator support you took out, put it back in. You've already done much more work than you need to. All you should need to do is take the pan off the bottom, remove the stock IC, and swap it for your new IC and tighten the clamps. Might need to trim the fan shroud depending on the IC. No need to disassemble the front end to do it.

Yea you did about 3 times as much work as needed. I did mine last weekend. didnt even take the bumper off, just dropped the under tray and everything came right off, the one time use clamps was my only issue.

Congrats. I just did mine last weekend. First with 2 wheels up on a curb and then again on jack stands the next day when the hot side coupler blew off in front of my serpentine belt. Unfortunately it was the one damn bolt I for some reason just couldn't reach. So I had to drop it all and redo it again the next day. Ratcheting wrenches are a godsend.
I went from cobb stg 1 to stg1+FMIC and it made a hell of a difference up top. |

That's going in with it jacked up 2ft... You did a lot of work. Just make sure that radiator and fmic form a seal when reassembled!
