Warranty issues

Just out of interest what sort of things have you been back to the dealership for during the warranty period?

Sorry if this thread has been done before!

• Tried for a wheelhub spray to hide rust, they usually charge for this but offered to do it for free next time its in for a service or any kind.

• Getting rear badge replaced on friday as its bubbling? almost like rusty bodywork does on an old motor.

• +1 for the 'High-gloss shadow line' trim thats bubbling too! also being changed friday.

Good idea for a thread by the way....

*EDIT* oh and i had new headlight washers painted and fitted when mine decided to lie down on the driveway when it snowed a bit!!!

That's a few things actually I'm surprised.

I've noticed the high gloss trim looks a bit crap and the rusty hubs too. Surely these should be sorted?

Didn't realise that happened with the steering wheel either.

Will they really sort out the high gloss shadow trim and rusty hubs as part of the AUC warranty? My hubs are rusty and the trim looks a bit shite, mottled effect which I've tried to polish out and then waxed, but still looks crappy....

Cheers....

curious as to what the age/mileage of your car is,as my trim is all speckled...
I've had a shock replaced and the temperature gauge kept showing -19,so they replaced the clocks.
£600 job for the latter work so worth the warranty alone!

Mine is a 57 plate with 60k on the clock. The bodywork is surprisingly good, probably had a new front end! The trim is particularly bad around both wing mirrors. Tried to get on a pic, but hard to tell.

How bad did the leather look for them to sort it out under warranty?

1) central locking failure - several visits after which transponder replaced. But its going back in this week as its failed again and when pint 2 will be addressed.
2) adaptive headlight - RH headlight points in directions of its own choosing.

not much but its only done 20k miles in 2.5 years
