Will do. I will be doing a separate thread called Sapphire's Custom Interior and will be listing the parts and numbers. Til then, they can all be found on RealOem.com. .
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/partgrp.d...id=50174&hg=51 The only custom work was the covering of the front door tops. My trim shop ordered the black Dakota leatherette from some place in CA ("Hollywood" something) and it is pretty much a dead-on match. I'm as picky as they come and I'm very satisfied with it. I may do a little something with the dash, but...for now, she's done. It's not black with saddle or silver with black but it does look a little more like a guy's car now. The coming rims will also help.

Carbon Leather added
Swapped my Performance CF for some M3 carbon leather trim. I like this muuuuch better, especially when the light hits it (which is often in an E93). Had my old aluminum center console covered in black leather and added matching M3 rear console and ashtray covers. I also put in M3 speaker covers, black cup holder trim (to match the black light control module and key slot on that line) and black door handles with aluminum (perlglanz chrom) finish, because...I plan to put in perlglanz chrom paddles, step shifter and start engine button (which means I'll be selling a very nice sport steering wheel with paddles ). Then we'll work on the LCI iDrive upgrade.
I was going to put in the M Sport steering wheel this weekend, but...got the wrong one. Needed the one for paddles. Still trying to decide whether the ambient lighting strips should be beige or black. I have both sets. Opinions? I will do a proper shoot and supply part numbers once the M Sport steering wheel (and maybe black carpet?) is in. The rims are taking forever to arrive.

Thanks! It's been a fun project.
It is a Spec.DocK. I ordered it directly from them thru this Website. It's pretty easy to install. http://specdock.com/ Thanks! I certainly like it a lot better than all of that beige, but...may have been slower to do the whole conversion had I put in the carbon leather to begin with. That made the biggest difference in making the beige interior more aggressive, altho doing all of the other stuff made even the aluminum look good in there. The different trims really set the tone. Quote:
But there is something about the carbon leather that it so cool and I think it is the stitching across the top...adds a bit of quality that Porsche and others do to wow people. Too bad they put the stitching on the bottom of the door pieces where you can't really enjoy it. You won't be disappointed. Just keep your eyes on the M3 forum. Guys there are swapping it out to get some contrast in their all black dashes. Otherwise, Evan@Tischer can fix you up. Incredible guy to work with!

Almost done...
Added M Sport steering wheel with aluminum/perlglanz chrom paddles (from the X6) and matching shifter to go with M3 speaker covers and door pulls. Always preferred the brushed aluminum look over the chrome. Also added perforated leather Ebrake handle. (Workin' on a custom iDrive knob.)
Thanks again to Evan @ Tischer (henceforth known as Achilles). You da man!

Sapphire Gets New Shoes
Finally got the rims. Went with the classics...Alufelgen CS7s, the perfect replica of the wheels found on one of BMW's ultimate production cars - the M3 CSL. Now riding on a little history.
This completes phase one of Project Sapphire, sticking to the theme "OEM...just upgraded from stock". I may do the M Sport front and rear along with quads and other upgrades a bit later on, but for now...just gonna spend some time on the road with her. Hope you enjoyed it. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=589844 http://www.facebook.com/AlufelgenWheels?sk=wall - Alufelgen's Facebook page

Recommend changing out the carpet to black as well as the lower door trim, ambient lighting strip, and hand brake boot.
Have you thought about changing out the center console to black as well as the door handle and lower door pockets?

Fantastic thread! Really enjoyed seeing the transformation as a fellow e93 owner.
I have Titanium Silver with Coral Red interior. I was thinking of getting the Linea Corsa Lemans in hypersilver. The red caps I think would be a nice touch with the CR interior. Would look something like this (except in TiAg) http://i651.photobucket.com/albums/u...8/e9477216.jpg But now after seeing the CSL's on the e93, those look darn good too...choices, choices |

Wow. Back from da dead.
Thanks for all of the positive comments. The project was fun, but...recently, I have been just been enjoying the car. It's interesting that the thread got revived 'cause I was just thinking the other day about how long it has been since I did any kind of modding. Maybe it was the accident that got my coals burning again. Yes, some yahoo in a pick-em-up truck backed into me at the bank and crunched my hood. Had to replace the hood and blend the paint onto the fenders and bumper. But...it came out great. (Kinda needed a paint job on the hood anyway, as someone apparently dripped muriatic acid on it while cleaning the acid rain spots off the windshield before I bought the car...the only blemish on her.) I thought about doing an aftermarket hood but that would have led to a new rear bumper, new side skirts and perhaps a new front. You guys know the drill. Still thinking about all black carpets. I'll probably do that this summer. I did swap out the ambient lighting strips to black (as suggested above) but went back to beige. The black color of the strips just didn't go with the black vinyl of the upper door panels. Thanks again for the
