I feel like gunmetal makes the wheels look smaller and black makes them look bigger since the color of the tire and rims blend together

It's true if you aren't too low, but it's your call. I just powdered my wheels in gloss black and am going to probably powder them something else this fall to make them stand out.

I'd go gunmetal since your car looks more like the second pic, your tints not too dark, and no black top so imo gunmetal ftw

I got black rims for my E46 and I have grown to hate them. They never show up in pictures because they are always in shadow. I like the gunmetal much better.

I meant contrast only on the wheels, not contrast with the whole car, sorry I didn't clearly specify, sorryyyyy OP .

I think black would just look black at night or day, there isn't a light black or a darker black. (It'd just be shades of grey.. wouldn't it be?)

The metallic gunmetal will give a nice grey shine in the light or get pretty close to black in the dark, hence I meant here the more contrast.

The black looks nice on a lot of cars, dont get me wrong, but on a silver car i think the gunmetal will look a lot better IMO.

See how theres a spot of white light reflecting off the gunmetal? that doesn't really happen for the black. (you'd know better since I'm assuming you took the pics.)

I'll buy your stock wheels if you decide to sell them when you get your VMR's.

Thanks for your response I understand. I'm just used to black and how it matches with my carbon fiber stuff but I think I'll go gunmetal
