Looks good Bill. A little more angled would be better, imo... that way you can see the wheels a bit better. What speeds (car and shot)?

trick is to go slow and steady and try to get a nice long exposure out of it.

BTW my suction mount came in today... I'll be trying it out soon!

eh... maybe double the speed and that should do the trick, you don't need to do 50mph for a good one. 20-30mph should suffice.

i'm sure you understand how brutal getting those shots was.

look at the shadows - the sun was behind the cars so trying to shoot in shutter priority and STILL get some decent lighting in there was killing me.

thank you PS5 HAHA !!!!

He doesn't necessarily have to be moving the car faster. Even 5mph is fast enough if your shutter speed is right.

I haven't posted anything in a while. Here's a shot from a camping trip last fall.

those are easier to get with a slow shutter speed, but he wasn't using a rig.

....that must be what Bill meant when he said "tried to do a rig shot without the rig." lol Somehow I missed that post.

that was my point... small increase in speed with the right shutter speed is how you do it, not going 50mph and leaving it where it was.

10-15 mph should be more than enough even for handheld, imo.

Ah, I read your 50mph part wrong. I blame me likely being concussed. I agree w/ Mr. Excitement.
