Damon hills company ''P1'' where you pay something like £14k a year and get the use of many, many lovely motors from amg merc to lambos, astons and bentleys (not to mention countless, ferraris porkers) etc
would you consider something like this? for some of you with your car financed etc, this could be a cheaper option?? but what would your friends think when every other week you have a different supercar i think its quite a good idea but them again im young.. with money to burn.. but would some of you consider this over your current car?? Carlos

It would be fun if you had the cash to burn though. |

Depends if you only do around 5000 miles p.a. and mostly use your car that you are burning cash on at weekends...... like me.
I think there are clubs out there at much less money than that say 2-8k a year. Most of us will probably lose something in that region on our cars in depreciation a year (perhaps somewhere towards the middle?) so for some it might make sense, particularly if there are two cars in the family. I like owning my own car and having it sat there whenever I want it... now, if I had the spare cash to do both, that would be good!

Know somebody in a scheme like that.
He drives a Porsche ... but at weekends has a Lamborghini, Bentley, Aston, SLR parked outside (Neighbours think he is a drug dealer ) Drives and enjoys. No worries about servicing, breakdown, HORRENDOUS depreciation etc. Quite a reasonable amount of time in the cars per year for the price which he says was his treat. Let's face it, you wouldn't want a lamborghini the day you have to go to work, just on the days you have free. As stated, with the money you lose on a 40k BMW in a year you could easily do the above. D.

My sons boss is a member of the P1 club. He's taken my son out in some pretty exotic cars just for a ride at lunchtimes. He even managed to put it through the company books (motorsport company) which can't be bad.
Regards Chris
