Online BMW Parts vendors that ship with USPS?

Does anyone know of any US BMW parts dealers that ship with USPS? I contacted a few but they all ship via UPS only. I need some parts and with the dollar the way it is, the time to buy is upon us!

I just bought a bunch of stuff from Tischer but had it shipped UPS to E-town. It worked out fine but I have yet to to get the bill from UPS.

Considering the savings, basically half price or less compared to BMW in Canada you can't go wrong.

Blacklineas are $235 US vs $475 Cdn. f'in joke living here.

Why do want USPS? Lower duty?

USPS doesn't charge any brokerage fees. Here is the UPS breakdown:

http://www.ups.com/content/ca/en/shi...clearance.html

Insane!

Right. That's why the OP wants to ship vis USPS.
Problem with USPS is that the shipper has to drop off the parcels at the post office. I don't think they pick up.

I completely feel ya in regards to Ups.
The absolute worst way to ship. I order alot from the US and everytime i've received something through Ups i get whacked.
I never do business with them anymore.

USPS does not charge brokerage put Canada Post does when it reaches Canada, but it is only something like $5. A far cry from the UPS robbery.

Sometimes small parcels of high value will completely slip under the Canada Post radar too. I recently got my angel eye LEDs from the U.S. (worth about $200) completely tax free!

With the huge volume of cross-border shopping shippments from the US today Canada Post is totally overwhelmed. They are letting a lot of small parcels go free becasue they simply don't have the time to process each and every package. This will only get worse (or better for shoppers) when Christmas approaches!!

Be cautious with USPS. If you are purchasing expensive stuff and they ship without insurance or tracking numbers, this is like gambling.... USPS would be fine if you are ordering small parts with low value, however I typically insist on at least getting a tracking number (especially with the volume of goods being shipped these days).

Depending on size and value, USPS can be as expensive as UPS.
