My car is under surveillance!

Sure, I'm used to all the employees at the dealership trying to get a peek at my lemon interior...

And the people who slow down or stop when I'm out washing the car....

And even the tourists who want a photo of the kids with my car in the background...

But now this guy flew directly over my house yesterday (noisy thing too), and I can only assume it was to try and get a glimpse of my car and that lemon interior. They probably had telescopic lenses getting close-ups of it...

... I hope they couldn't read the name on the tires!

Do you ever feel like people are judging you (neighbors) when you are washing your car. Im probably crazy,but, I really do feel like people are watching me.

Sometimes, but screw 'em. There are plenty of people in the neighborhood with more expensive cars than mine.

They're just lazy and jealous that you have the energy the wash your car while they're cars continue to collect dust. I have the same problem

good, you guys are giving me more peace of mind.I live in a nice neighborhood they just dont care about cars.I definately have the nicest cars in the neighborhood.They probably think im filthy rich.definately not though.I love this forum.

I have the same problem too, but its not because they're lazy. Its because they think Im crazy for spending 2 hours washing a car (They're probably right!). Its pretty embarrassing actually.

I usually spend around 1 hour and 15 min washing my car, (believe me, i used to take 4 hours), and I do feel a little self-conscious when I'm doing it...but all my neighbors cars look like crap so I don't care what they think. If you want the job done right, you have to do it yourself.

i used to feel envied. well that was until my neighbor drove home his brand new 911 4S. haha. but wait get this. he kept it for about 2 years and traded it in for a mustang.lol thats right, you heard me, a mustang.

You should see the looks I get when I'm out washing it in January. Once I had to break the ice out of the hose first....
