How did you install them? I searched, but couldn't find an answer to my question: are the new bushings split down the middle so that you can slip them on easily, or do you have to drop the subframe and pull the bar off to slide them onto the OEM bar? I'm assuming the OEM bar is 13mm, correct?

Thanks!
They ARE split for easy install. Looks like the subframe still has to be dropped to install them. I haven't done that yet. But I've done these on every car I've owned and they always make a difference.

MY oem bar is 13mm.

That stinks. I just installed mine, no subframe drop needed.

I am looking to do exactly what this thread title states - take my 'base model' suspension up a notch to 'sport' suspension.

I have already purchased the Bilstein B12 pro-kit shocks/springs set. Before I pay to have them installed, I want to ensure that I have everything else that I need. So I am looking for suggestions / advice.

Should I purchase an OEM Shock mount kit ($200 from TMS)?
Should I also upgrade the upper and lower control arms to the M3 version ($400 from TMS)?
Should I also upgrade the front sway bar to the E93 M3 28 mm bar ($340 from TMS)?

What do you guys say? Is there something else I should change while I have the suspension torn apart?

Thanks for any input.

^I'm not sure replacing only one sway bar is the smartest move if you go with the M3 bar. I think I may do the "sport suspension" front sway bar, which IIRC is different vs base. But the rear sway bar is the same. Again, going off memory from like 1-2yrs ago when I pulled all the part #'s off RealOEM.

Thanks for the tip. I definitely do not want to tip the balance too much to the front. I will look up the parts on realoem and see what the middle ground is for the front sway bar.

There is no issue with replacing just the front sway bar with an M3 one.

Replacing just the rear sway bar, without LSD, is not ideal on the other hand.
