ECU HELP!

i recently got my car tuned, and i want to flash it back to stock cuz i like the jb3 pnp better. the place i got my car tuned will not do it and i need a place or a way to do it. anybody have any ideas on how much a reflash to stock would be????/

thats balls on the company that flashed your car....what if you had to flash it back to stock for warranty work...

That is the bad thing about flashes IMO....They take your money with no problems, but when you need something other than an upgrade, they don't treat you the same...Ofcourse its not all vendors that do this, but the OP that were speaking of!

my buddy owns the shop and he wont do it for me

, so i told him to give me my money back and in french i told him pretty much to shut ur company down!

im a little new to tunes. I just got my JB3 and DCI and planned to install it this weekend. My 7500 mile service is probably gonna hit in a couple months. If I take the Jb3 out and DCI before service do I need to get a flash or something? I plan to put both back on after they service the car.

Nope.. One of the big advantages of a piggyback tune like the JB3 is that you can bring it back to stock in the comfort of your garage. Once out the car is 100% back to stock.

well i had the jb3 pnp and i loved it and then he said he would tune it for me and it would be guaranteed more power and it wasnt n he claime he never said that so i am goin back to jb3 and HVI intake. and the dealership i go to never saw anything when i took my car in for service besides intake

Chances are he didn't make a copy of your stock file and can't flash you back to stock. The dealership will be able to do it for you. Maybe you can slip a tech a little cash to handle it off the books for you.

Any company that flashes 335s should be able to flash back to stock for you, but maybe your friend didn't back up your original file... i.e. he's a twat... and now he doesn't know how to get hold of one (although not sure how that would happen as I'm sure he would have got the file from a fileserver somewhere)

Good advice. Maybe check with Patrick BMW. Or even LET or a GIAC dealer.

Has anyone ever been able to do this for real? I've seen it referenced a bunch. The tech would lose their job I would imagine.
