Nothing, just had the speed limiter coded out after the warranty expired so I could go run the Texas mile.

A brief 135 in my 128i on the Autobahn during Euro Delivery. It would easily have gone up to the 155 limit, but it only had a few hundred miles on it.

The other day I was driving on I-95 and the bumps and holes were huge. On autobahn you have strict rules and excellent surface and is much safer to drive 140mph than 80mph on I-95.

Pennsylvania, I feel your pain I'm from York, 83 is so bad, even with all the new construction going into MD.

Totally agree, I'd rather everyone be going 100+ paying attention then going 40-60 eating burgers, texting, playing with the radio... It's always funny someone reads a speed and freaks out like the person must be weaving through traffic like a drunk doing those speeds.

A E90 at 145 mph for 20 min on the A63. I had more pedal, but I was in moderate traffic. The opportunity to drive in Germany is the reason that I bought the BMW. If I lived in the states, I would have bought an Acura.

wow.. I bet you were white knuckling it in the SVT Contour.

Me- 145 in a 328 (needle read 151, but figure it's about 6 MPH off) and 140ish in a 335xi... Both cars felt remarkably stable at these speeds.

115 on the 335i, but i was on snow tires, and...shit got wierd.

and technically speaking, again being technical, "speed" doesnt kill, its"crashes" that can kill or hurt. you dont even need to be speeding to crash. Food for thought....
Somebody made a valid point.. id rather people go 100mph+ and pay attention, then be doin 65-80 and have their head buried in their damn cell phones.

115 in my 328i. I didn't realize I was going that fast until I looked at the speedometer. I backed off after that because I was in the city zone, but the car had a lot left. The car was just waking up at 115.
