I still don't see her. She is not on the LA/LongBeach map or on the AIS list of ships docked in LA/LongBeach. She's not in San Diego. I can see some ships in the port in PH, but there are no labels attached to those on AIS, so I don't know the names of the ships there. It is strange. They must have turned the AIS off. I think she is in Long Beach because the San Diego schedule shows her last port prior to SD is Long Beach. Who knows about PH's schedule. Their schedule hasn't been updated in over a week. If it isn't clear to us tomorrow what is going on, someone from this list (abendx since he lives there??) might want to call PH tomorrow and ask about her ETA. I have done that before and the lady who answers the phone has been helpful.

My guess.... she sank. Ships don't just disappear. Check the newspaper in the morning.

I have actually seen this happen before. I think they temporarily turned off her AIS. She'll show up. |

By the way, the green arrows mean the ship is sailing more than .5 knots. The yellow arrow means she is parked or traveling less than .5 knots. The red arrows mean the ship has sailed beyond the coverage area or (rarely) have switched off their AIS temporarily. If the signal is lost for more than 30 minutes, the ship will be removed from the chart.
I just think her AIS has been off for so many hours that she's off the chart. |

They should have called the Sirius Leader the YNOT.... YNOT sink to the bottom of the sea?
Or.... they could have called it the DAMMAM, as in... DAMMAM, where'd my ship go?

By the way.... I despise your good taste in cars. SL63AMG? When are you going to take me for a drive? :-)

I can't wait for this new AMG. It is going to be so much fun to drive. Yeah, like I will just take a quick jaunt down to PH to take you for a drive! Actually, come to think of it, it will only take me about 45 minutes to get there in this car. Ha

45 minutes? Wow... what are you waiting for? Well.... other than the car.

I am calling it quits for tonight. I have been tracking SL since 6 am this morning. I just checked all of SoCal and she's still cloaked (prob in LA). I will check on her in the morning and see you guys then. . . |

I was actually getting ready to pull the trigger on an 08 SL550 in late DEC before a business deal went sour. It was one hell of a car (loaded, minus designo), especially with the 9k factory incentive at the time.... I can't imagine having all the extras the 63AMG would bring.

so much for the schedule on the Port Hueneme website, the boat is in San Diego and looks like it has yet to dock.

Here she is. Hopefully she will unload quickly and move on to PH tonight. SD is the port for Porsche and Volkswagon (their VPCs are there), so SL must have picked those up in Bremerhaven, too, along with Mercedes (deliverd @ their LA VPC). She was carrying a lot of high-value cars!
I haven't looked to see if PH schedule has changed. |

You beat me to it by seconds. You can see the difference between aislive and shinemicro. Shinemicro is live and SL is already in port. Shinemicro works great when it works.
