335xi .. Unable to shift gear when its cold in the morning

Hi

I have a 335 xi which i bought yesterday. This morning when i started the engine
i got a message as shown in the picture attached.

And then i waited for 5 -10 mins and then this message went off and i am able to shift and drive.

I am feeling very bad now , Can some explain what the issue is. Is this serious or can it be fixed easily??
