(All current updates below)

Started off with my standard black sapphire M Sport e92.

(Excuse the crappy iPhone pics)

First thing I done was get a new set of rims...

19" 8.5j/9.5j M359 CSL Comp style alloys, got them off Chris ********, vendor on here. Top guy

Got some tyres then went out and fitted them...

Was a nice sunny day (for Ireland anyway) so went out with the bro and his e60 and got a couple of shots..

Nice!! What is your tire setup? Do you plan to stay stock height? I don't want to slam mine and I want to go with as much rubber as possible!

Thanks, only stayed at stock m sport height for about a week and a half! Coilovers are in and wound the whole way down, will get some pictures up in a bit.

For the tyres I did a quick search on here and ended up going for 245/35/19 & 275/30/19.
Fitted perfectly & even now that its pretty slammed I can get full lock with no scrubbing either.

Next set of wheels I'm planning on are going to be wider though so I will be going with some decent stretch to make them fit right.

Looking good mate!!

You'd better get some sun cream on - you'll be burnt to a crisp if you spend too much time out in that foreign object people call "sun light" :P

Haha, tell me about it. Not like that now though. Will add the other pictures when I get home from work.

New wheels planned just waiting until I have a bit more spare cash before I dish out on them!

So next thing I decided to do was an extremely quick & cheap mod.
Had thought about it before, then came across someone's DIY thread that had done it. Which then convinced me to go ahead and do it.

Pre-LCI tail lights

Comparison

& still Pre-LCI tail lights, only white sections covered in red lamin x..

Gives the rear end a bit of an LCI look without the cost of buying LCI rears.

Was quite happy with how it turned out to be honest

A few days later I got a couple of things in the post.
I love getting packages

Hated the halogen coloured halo's.. just didn't look good against the xenon beams at all. So I ordered these up and fitted them in.
Was very simple to fit these, only takes about 10 mins to do.

Trying to get a good picture of them on, capturing the true colour and light is nearly impossible to do with an iPhone!

Best picture I could get was this..

In person you can see they look well. Match the xenons perfectly and just give a better/newer look to the car.

Next package

Set of kidney grilles painted in Black Sapphire Metallic to match the body.
Got these for about £50/60 painted and posted from the eBay seller bcmoto, which reminds me, I also got the m3 lip spoiler off him as we'll painted and posted for £40. (Can see it fitted in some the other pics)
Check him out if you don't know of him yet, parts comes from Taiwan and took about 5 days to get here, real cheap!

Standard chrome grille

Comparison pic

Colour coded grille

Another job done quicker and easier than I expected.

did you buy the full lamin x tail light kit in red?
or do they offer just a strip for the turn signal?
how does the red match in reality? pretty close to the stock color?
finally, how difficult was it to do urself?
Haha....sorry for having so many questions !! always wanted to upgrade lci tails but dont have the budget atm. having that red strip makes the rear end look much better imo.

It's not actually from the company lamin-x, I'm just use to calling it that.
I went on eBay and ordered up a sheet of red head/tail light film.
Was from Hong Kong I think, took about 20 days to get here but was only £1.40 for a sheet of 12" x 24" (don't even need half that, but good in case you make a mistake)
You could do the whole light, but I just made a cut out to cover the white.
Matches perfect, it's the exact same colour, was really pleased.
And it's pretty easy to do, I just made sure the headlight was clean > sprayed with soapy water > peeled the film off > put it in place > then heated it until it was stuck properly (good to use heat gun but I didn't have one so used a hair dryer) > while heating it, if you have a squidgey, or like I done, put a card from my wallet inside a microfibre cloth and squeeze all the water out to make sure there's no bubble.
That's it really, if you've never done it before the first try might not go great, but then you'll do it right the next time, super easy!
