The KW V1 XI drop is just perfect in my opinion as the car does sit a bit high on the factory suspension setup. I do have some pretty killer deals going on for all you E90post members so don't hesitate to drop me a PM if you guys have any questions at all about the KW lineup!

As you would expect, the handling is much better. Although you end up with a little more firmer ride, there is a lot less body roll (feels more like a sports suspension) and no more large gaps in the front fenders!

My KW V1's came today! Installing next week.
Do I need to tell the installer anything special when putting these on? Will I need to specify a specific height, or wait for them to settle then go in if they need to be raised? I'm a newbie Also, how long can I run the stock RFT's without causing significant damage to the V1's? I ordered wheels but it'll probably be 9 weeks before they're ready to be installed with new tires. |

damn bro, your car looks amazing with that drop. I live in NY too... our potholes are way too mean for that.. lol. I have a lease or else I would drop as well, I just don't want the dealership to eff with me when I for servicing and stuff.. I think a drop looks so much sexier on our xi's.

I basically told my installer the height from the centre cap I wanted. You could say 1 or 2 finger gap and they should be able to nail it. Mine didn't settle too much - no more than 1/4 inch.

Is it dangerous to install H&R 20mm wheels spacers on the rear of 2007 328 xi only, or
do I also have to install spaces on front wheels too? I only wants the read to stick out/flushed with the fender. Please help!! Expert!!! |

Any of you guys raising them up for the winter??
This is my first winter lowered and I think I should be fine as it's not too slammed. Putting on 17" RFT winters this week as well. |

I am also lowered on KW, I told my mechanic I do not want too low since I live where snowing is everyday in winter. He told me he will lower it for *functional only. The car sits where I want exactly (he is very knowledgeable and popular for suspension work). I asked him if I should raise it up for snowing, he told me coilover isn't mean to lower it in summer and raise up in winter.
This is how it sits now. Now, I have stock 189 for winter setup tho. sorry for crappy pic. 2nd pic is after it has settled, tad bit lower than first pic Last edited by Yvette; 11-19-2011 at 02:48 PM.. |

^ interesting. Adjustable, but one time adjustable it seems like.
I'm a little higher than you so I may be ok. Anyone else have ecperience here. |

did you have adjustable end links installed? If so, did you have them installed on the front and rear?

You only need them for the front. Get them from Turner Motorsports.
