What else could be the reason for the timing correction if its not Octane related?

yes you need to change the scalar bank 1 and 2 for the amount of ethanol you are putting in and then always use the same amount. if you go straight 98 than you need to change map.
there is a pdf with the values , just search for the thread cobb opened about it.

I cannont change the Fuelscalar value exactly to the calculated value. Should I choose the next higher?

Calculated Value: 1.053
in ATR choose 1.050 or 1.060?

Either 1.05 or 1.06 will work but I would go with 1.06 just to buy a little more head room. The DME is flexible enough to correct for fueling provided you are close.

I am pretty much finalized on my Pro Tune S1+ E50, may go to E60. The 91 ACN octane isn't performing liked we hoped could either be less than 10% Ethanol or just flat out shitty gas. Either way, its freaking amazing. And I am only S1+, can't imagine how FBO feels.

Just curious does anyone know what else is next on cobbs list of things to do now that the race maps are out? Anyone hear any talk of a NLS feature or anything else?

Is it ok to run stage 2 aggressive + FMIC with high flow catted dps? Or does it require catless dps?

I would suggest starting with the "sport" maps, logging and if everything looks ok give the aggressive maps a shot. Post Logs here if you want some feedback.

Here is base line and stage 1 v402 aggressive dyno. Completely stock 2009 e90 AT. I was hoping for a delta of more than 30/50.

No logs while on the dyno. I might make a run today to log. These pulls were all done in 4th gear. I pulled onto the dyno did 2 pulls then uninstalled the cobb and did a baseline. The car never came off the dyno.

you must have heatsoaked pretty bad to yield so low numbers.

I emailed Cobb asking if the ap would save he Ppk BMW software flash/kit, and hey said it won't back it up as a factory rom.

So will I lose the ppk or good?

I have a question for you Cobb gurus. I will be heading to the track this weekend (a track with turns, not a drag strip), and am considering going to stage 1 or stage 1+ to help turn down the boost and keep temperatures down...I have a problem with coolant temps usually at the track. I usually run Stage 2+FMIC drive.

I am FBO, and I know it will throw a code for the missing cats, but is this just simply a code that it knows they are missing, or will it make the car run differently. Is this ok to do with the mods I have?

I don't know about missing cat codes, but I wouldn't recommend Stage1+ if you're trying to keep temps down. It uses a lot of boost.
