Alpina TCU Code So Good SHOULD Be Standard
I had Alex @ AlpineMSS.com remote flash the Alpina B3 like transmission software yesterday and everything I have read on this forum about it is completely accurate. The upgraded TCU programming combined with the Cobb aggressive tune makes the 2011 335i M-Sport sedan so much more engaging to drive! I can't believe BMW leaves so much fun and responsiveness out of the stock car. I know they have to design for all kinds of less than optimum conditions but the difference is huge! The Alpina programming turns it into a whole new beast. And I have to recommend Alex and Alpine Motorsports too. I found his remote service here on the forum and it was a great experience. Alex is a true professional and really knows his stuff. I screwed up on the Windows machine for the remote session but he knows every trick and got everything working just right.

I also must recommend Alex and the Alpina B3 flash. It truly kick ass.
As above poster wrote, Alex is a great guy and really takes his time to help you out. I live in Sweden and it was not easy finding a suitable time because of the time difference between our countries but after a few quick whatsapp messages back and forth he managed to squeeze me in while he was doing a custom job with a few Rolls-Royce´s. It only took about 5 minutes once everything was set-up and he kept me up to date through out the entire process. The car is so much more fun to drive especially in Manual mode if you use your paddles. Shifts much quicker and rev-matches great. This together with a tune will give you a potent and fun 335i. Great job and service. Thanks a lot Alex. Regards Fredrik |

Driving a 6AT without the Alpina flash should be considered a crime. But really, had it for 10 months before flashing back to stock for warranty reasons, and the car just drive the same anymore.

Warranty reasons? I took it to 3 different dealers- one did my VANOS, another my brakes, and still another my hardtop rails- not a single hoot was given- nor exclaimed- about my Alpina flash.

Ah yes, now I do. It seems there are these little felt ski things that glide along the back window support arms on little tabs of plastic glued onto the arms. Those came off for whatever reason, and the little felt ski things got gummed up with glue- resulting in a "clunk" when the hardtop was going up |
