Lci daytime running lights

Hey, owna 58 plate 320d m sport which has halogen angel eyes, now I get to the settings in the instrument cluster and when the symbol comes up for the drls I switch them on but nothing seems to happen, what am I doing wrong? Or hasn't my car got them fitted?

If they are fitted you'll just get dipped beam on when you start the car, there aren't any DRLs as such

If you put the switch to auto, don't DRLs only turn on?

Dip beam, but only when the sun goes behind a cloud

Garage List
Yup. As standard, the DRLs are just your headlights in a halogen car. You can code the car to have the angel eyes on instead though.

I think I turned on daytime running lights in my CIC?

They seem to always be on?

Aah, so the OP's car doesn't have angel eyes because it is LCI?

I thought the LCI Halogen models had the rings as standard.

My 2010/9 does, so I can confirm that late model LCIs do but I don't know about early LCIs
