330d performance upgrades
Hi guys. What are your opinions on the best performance upgrades for a 330d? Was thinking performance braking system and the steering wheel with the digital display. Any views?

Depends what you mean by performance - neither of those will make you go faster (one will make you slow down a hell of a lot quicker though ).
I'd say a remap is the most common 'performance' upgrade. Not too sure of the actual increase but I understand it's pretty significant. I'm sure someone will enlighten you soon. TMP on here definately has his mapped. After that you can do all sorts, exhaust, intercooler (?) - I'm no expert. I'd start off with the remap definately and see how you get on. I was definately going to do this but ended up giving my old 330d to the missus so didn't bother.

In the past I've found that the standard brakes (on a 35z4 in this case) are rather poor when they get hot. Was thinking the performance brakes would be better? Do BMW do a remap or do I need to use a third party?

loads of options on remapper here... I personally used www.e-maps.co.uk and have been really happy with it, approx 275bhp and bucket loads of torque!!! would be interesting head to head with a standard 335D now i reckon...
