CF Boot Lid Question

Looking for opinions on wether or not its necessary to paint a CF Boot Lid on my Sapphire Black E92. Not sure if it will look corny/ricey having the CF weave fully exposed on the whole trunk or if it would look better color matched. Thanks

As long as the trunk comes with a high quality clear coat it does not have to be painted. However, if you do not have a lot of exposed carbon fiber parts like front lip, roof spoiler etc it might look out of place if kept raw. You can always paint it but leave parts exposed to give it a more aggressive look. (Seen below)

That looks really good! Which boot lid is that? How much should a paint job cost?

That is the CSL style trunk in carbon fiber. It should be around $300-$400 for painting and installation.
