My dealer called me today and told me that my car arrived at my dealership this morning! I was able to stop by after work today and examine the car. PDI will be performed tomorrow morning, and after that, she's all mine.

I'm so stoked, after all this wait, I was finally able to actually touch my car!

Gary-keep us updated on your car's progress. I am curious to know what the wait time is right now for Euro Del. I have a friend who has a Euro Del MB on Camellia Ace. It arrived in LA on Sunday night.

Well, I got the call! My car just arrived at the dealership. But, there is no one to inspect it, so it has to sit the night out at the dealership. Darn. So close, yet so far away. They have it locked up in the service bays for the night, so I couldn't even go take a look. I will pick it at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow. There is just no way I am going to sleep tonight! It is going to be a long night!

Nice pics Motorsport. Is the interior red? If you get a chance, post some interior pics. I would love to see that color. Great color combo on your car. It is hard to believe that after all they've gone through these cars look so great and so perfect. It has been an amazing journey!

Tell me about switching the orange reflectors for painted ones. What do you mean? My car is coming with orange reflectors on the area in front of the wheel wells. The car wasn't designed for that; it is a US regulation and I don't like it. I would like to switch them out to something not so obvious. What are painted reflectors?

You probably won't get a good night's sleep tonight, either. There are probably many of us who won't sleep well tonight; either because we are awaiting delivery tomorrow, or are on a high from the thrill of a new delivery.

spn, painted reflectors are aftermarket mods that change out the ugly amber reflectors for body colored ones. Probably available at **********s for your AMG.

So my dealership was swamped last night (last day of the month rush) and I didn't get home until 11:00pm. The dealership stayed open an extra hour and a half, and was still helping customers after I left. But I finnaly got delivery of my car!!





Unfortunately, in the middle of the night, these are the best pictures I could manage in my sleepy stupor. I'll do a proper photo shoot soon

As far as the reflectors go I really don't like the US regulated orange either That's why I ordered a set of painted ones from a sponsor member on this forum (longtran). He does them perfectly, buys OEM reflectors and coats them with your OEM color of choice. I have them already but will have to wait to get the car detailed and clear bra'd before I put them on. Wow! BMW has some awesome interior colors. Bruin's on the DonJuan thread has an unusual interior, too. I like them a lot! I always stick with off-white/stone, but I like the unusual ones, too! Congrats!

Oh, I forgot to post that I picked up my car today! (I am tired tonight--it is exhausting going through that "dealership" drill.) My dealership was super busy, too, because of month end.

It was a rainy/snowy day and so my car is really dirty. Tomorrow is going to be a very nice day, so I will wash my car and post pics. My car will be an unusual addition to the BMW thread.

Congratulations! I love the space grey color. It should hold up to the dirt much better than my black car.

No. I was at the dealership yesterday and asked. It isn't even showing up in the computer that it has made any status changes. Hang in there. I know this is an especially tough wait.
