ANy body used Federal 595ss tires?

Anybody used or have experience with Federal 595 ss tires? I can get the whole set for only $540 shipped. Is it any good? Compare to Nexen or Falken 452s which one is better?

They are excellent for the price and good tread wear. They typically run wider than specs. The wheel gods on zilvia.net loves them.

I love federals, only tire ive ran for quite awhile. 595 for daily drivers, 595rs-r's for awesome grip. Are you looking at citytireonline.com? They have great prices.

I have a lot of experience with the SS595 as I use them for drifting on the rear. Grip is pretty good for the price. Tire life is also fairly good. The problem is the sidewall is VERY soft. I used them only on the back, and it made the car feel uneasy at highway speeds.

I will not be using them this upcoming season.

Nexen has a much better sidewall, but MUCH less grip.

Go with a Hankook Ventus V12 if you want to save money and get a decent set of tires in my opinion.

Hankook ventus is a better tyre by far, my friend has a set of federals on his e46 m3. Check out Falkens aswell excellent tires. Search google for tire reviews & see for yourself.

Good luck on the tire search, took me quiet a while to make a desicision.
