Please recomend a good dealer in NYC area??
I am about to order a a 335i coupe or sedan not sure yet ,
But i am really upset with my current dealer BMW of Manhattan their sales staff is crap. They dont know anything and they think that u have to be honered that they sell u a car. Was not always like this my previous buyin experience was great there but now i am really turned off by that dealer and want to look elsewhere. Can anyone recomend a good NYC area dealer to order from with a friendly attitude and who will discount of msrp for a 335i E90 or E92 i am prob also going to do EU delivery. |

BMW of Manhattan
If you don't care for a discount, only buy from BMW of Manhattan.
OpenRoad BMW, Difeo, JMK are all privately owned dealers. BMW of Manhattan is owned and operated by BMW directly. They don't offer much in discounts, but they don't pull any BS on you. If you buy tire/wheel protection, they replace the tire/wheel with a new tire/wheel, not some remanufactured wheel. (Actually they pay like 60% for a new wheel, you come up with the difference.) Bottom line, they take care of your car without any BS crap. When I had a 335i, there was a tapping sound coming from the rear of the car. Sounded like the AXLE was doing something. OpenRoad BMW hadn't done much to find out what the problem was, instead they made me replace tire after tire, wheel after wheel. $2000 later and 7 days later, the car had its belts all rip. It was towed to BMW of Manhattan. Even though I had purchased the car from OpenRoad BMW ( which I recommend 2nd to BMW of Manhattan where I leased an x3 ), BMW of Manhattan had still provided me with a 328xi loaner despite their policy. After replacing the belts and pulleys, I told them about the rear axle's tapping sound. They put a guy in the trunk and drove the car 40 miles. They even put on an identical set of wheels. The sound disappeared when the rear tires/wheels were swapped out with identical 189s. A week later the car over heated and I got rid of it anyway... but BMW of Manhattan went all the way. Trust them.

What´s the point of that? The wheel only costs them that much (60%). With insurance, you should be paying nothing. Normally a wheel/tire policy has a limit per incident, so as long as you can get a new BMW wheel and/or tire for that amount, you are set. It sounds like you are getting true ice in the wintertime here.

JMK BMW and let them know that the guys on e90post.com referred you. Check out this link. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=70747 We're having a BBQ meet this Sunday and JMK has donated $200 to the meet, plus hats and keychains. You won't go wrong with them. They are only 20 mins. from the city in Springfield, N.J. If you decide to go with them. Like I said earlier, just tell them that you were referred by e90post.com and they will take GREAT care of you. And you can also mention my name (Scott). Good luck!

If you want one on Long Island. I know the manager of Rallye BMW. He would gladly welcome a member on the board to come in and he would help you out. He doesnt get commission, for he is the manager of it. Its a VERY big dealership, and has some of the best deals around. PM me if you want me to give you his name. This is my first post, but hopefully it can help someone out.

If you're doing European Delivery, Irv Robinson is the most knowledgeable & respected member of this forum regarding ED. PM him and I'm sure he'll be glad to help you.
