HID H8 bulbs in 6500-7000K
I've been doing a lot of searching (google), but didn't find some bulbs that didn't cost an arm and a leg.
I have HID angels in 6K. I had 8K before and I really didn't like the color; it looks more like an ocean blue than a true blue. For anyone with experience with 6K bulbs, I want that color that appears for the first 20-30 seconds right after the bulbs ignite. After the warm up phase, the color become really white and there is a hint of blue that you can only notice from the inner and not the outer rings. Does anyone have any suggestions where I can buy H8 HIDs for a reasonable price that produce a color that is between 6K and 8K? |

Not sure what price is reasonable but: http://www.highperformancebulbs.com/hidbulbs.html
The problem with HID today is the kelvin temperatures are "estimated" and to actually measure and produce a bulb that is "6000K" takes equipment that is very expensive. What I'm trying to say is a manufacturer of one bulb 6000K might not look like another manufactures 6000K. Good luck in your search. |
