I haven't researched for any proper mirror mounts that is compatible with the E9X. Honestly I'm fine with it being attached through the windshield. Having a radar detector makes commuting that much more interesting. If you see a good mount for it let me know!

So I am on my second invisicord now since the first wire failed after about 6 months after installation and now this second wire failed on me as well after 3 weeks. There was no change in the setting whatsoever but the escort just wouldn't power-up. I did notice that as it starts failing, it will power up half of the time and now it is completely dead. Has this happened to anyone here and if so, what was your resolution? Thanks.

I can't wait to try this! I have my wire on order. So done with the suction on the windshield (although I have a really good one - the one from Escort I believe).

Damnit...the leads on my wire are not long enough to make contact in the mirror harness. I may need to improvise.
