"Vehicles from 6/2006 and on without sports suspension - require new stabilizers and springs"
Maybe this ^ because the Xi has a non-sport independently engineered suspension. |

Thats just too cheap
Id be leary. What shocks are those anyway?
Anyone buy from these guys before? At this price you could buy dozens of them and resell on ebay for huge markup...

How do you determine the build date?? I've searched, but I'm pretty sick at the moment and I can't locate anything that gives me more than the production/model year.

This has been out for a while.
Performance Suspension I think the issue was that if you didn't have sport suspension you had a number of other parts to buy. If you already have the sports suspension all you're getting is replacement shocks. Also, I was told it really wasn't for LCI's. Not sure where the XI's fall into this, but just sticking new shocks on there because they're cheap is not likely to yield the best results. Certainly ride height is not going to change and shocks/struts are generally matched to springs for best results. These guys are great to deal with, and are board sponsors. Call or email them with your car's specifics and they will let you know what your options are. |

It's an insane deal for a FULL Genuine BMW suspension kit!!! Here's our thread on it! Take advantage before BMW runs out as they'll most likely become NLA - no longer available. These are also great for simply refreshing aging suspensions!

Bought this about a month ago because one of my struts was bent from a pothole. This entire kit was cheaper than one stock sport strut! Installed it with H&R sport springs and it rides great. Not really much stiffer than stock sport suspension.
I bought the kit from Tischer. Came with all sorts of replacement nuts and bolts and bumpstops too. |

I also ordered roughly a month ago, and installed it a 1.5 weeks ago with a pair of used sport springs. This was a HUGE upgrade over my non-sport suspension. The car is much stiffer and the best part is I am only out $250.
Install is very simple and straight forward. A competent person should have no problem completing the install in 3-4 hours (less with air tools and/or lift) |

so just to clarify...
Can i put these shocks into my non-sport 2006 e90 and reuse stock non-sport original springs? Shocks are due for replacement as im at 60K miles on NYC roads... Or do i have to buy new sport/performance springs for this to work? Not looking for a drop (but wouldn't be opposed either), just want to get new oem shocks, and this looks like a great deal for them. Thanks! |

Dude, Tischer is a dealership in Maryland. You can go to the parts department and buy them on site, pay the MD tax and skip the $50 shipping fee if you are local. Genuine BMW parts. This is a fantastic deal!

You will want to pick up a set of used OEM sport springs to go with this for best results.

Get Perf springs from Tischer as well. I have had this system on my E90 for a couple years now and love it. This is one of the best deals ever.
