2010 335i Exhaust help
I have a 2010 335i Sedan and after upgrading the intercooler down pipe and intake I thought the whole thing was complete to run the stage 2 FMIC program on the cobb access port. That is when I noticed that the exhaust system was actually just the M performance mufflers (put on from previous owner) Since the upgrades the exhaust has a very loud growl and slight gurgle to it. Has anyone experienced the same issue and should I go with just a mid pipe to decrease the sound or a whole catback system? I am trying to stay as cheap as possible.

You do realize that upgrading an entire exhaust system is going to make the car louder, I mean that is what its for. Allowing less air restriction is going to make it louder.

for less sound, you need to sell the m perf system and put stock cat back on your car. I am sure many people on here would trade you straight up.
Not sure why you would do that though. |

Not necessarily more sound but less of a deep growl that it has now, I also have a 2012 S4 Stasis Challenge that is loud but has a nice tuned pitch to it.
