FS Feeler: CIC / Combox / 6NR Retrofit + Musicar Level 3 Hi-Fi Audio System
I am selling a 2008 E90 M3 in which I installed the BimmerTech CIC / Combox kit and a Musicar Level 3 Hi-Fi audio system and I am contemplating removing the CIC and audio components to sell separately. The listing for the vehicle is here: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...8#post15738528 All equipment was purchased in 2012. The CIC equipment includes: 1) CIC Navigation retrofit (includes head unit, display, controller, and all necessary cables / connectors 2) Combox Media PnP Retrofit (bluetooth phone, data, messages, and audio) 3) 6NR ConnectedDrive Retrofit (iPod audio / video control, including album cover art, BMW apps) 4) Center console trim (black) 5) 2013 Maps Upgrade (purchased in 2013) See BimmerTech web site for detailed information on what is included in each package. Coding would need to be purchased separately from Patryk at Bimmertech. I discussed with him already and he is happy to provide this service (for a price...please contact him). He does an excellent job...codes the system remotely while talking with you through Skype. My original equipment cost for the CIC system (not including coding) was around $3500. I need to get around $1500-$2000 to consider spending the weekend removing the system and making my car that must less attractive to buyers. The audio system includes the following components: 1) JL 900/5 900 watt 5-channel amplifier 2) Morel Hybrid Ovation 4” 2-way components (front) 3) Jehnert underseat dedicated midbass 4) JL 10W3 subwoofer w/ custom E90 trunk sub enclosure 5) Helix P-DSP programmable 8-channel digital signal processor 6) Mobridge DA1 digital preamplifier 7) Mobridge XM-A2010-BMW XM satellite radio 8) XMD1000 XM satellite radio tuner 9) Amp rack and E90 OEM CD changer trim for covering amp/DSP/pre-amp assembly The audio system is entirely PnP and is tuned for the E90. Original cost was $5300 including satellite radio. Like with the CIC system, I'd need some incentive to go through the removal effort. I'd be looking to get around $2000-$2500 for the whole audio system. If I have to part out the audio components, I'll consider it (just make an offer for individual components), but I'd prefer to sell the whole system together. Some pics to supplement those in the vehicle listing are attached. Feel free to contact me at luszcz.joshua@gmail.com or (703) 864-6456 if you would be interested. - Josh Last edited by jslim1999; 10-18-2014 at 12:11 PM.. Reason: Edited for clarity |

I guess links to external websites are not permitted? I apologize. It should be fairly easy to find the CIC items I described on the BimmerTech site.

Just out of curiosity, what made you go with the Mobridge XM-A2010-BMW XM satellite radio & XMD1000 XM satellite radio tuner instead of just picking up the OEM satellite tuner off the forum for $250?
I checked the pricing on those - $650 for the A2010 + $50 for XMD1000 That guy @ Musicar must want to retire early by selling overkill components Nice system though

I pulled the string and removed the iDrive and audio components. The iDrive system and the fiberglass sub enclosure are now for sale (see my listings in this forum). I will probably end up installing the rest of the Musicar system in my E70.
