Sorry guys that I didn't get to write something up yesterday, but I will try to get it done today as I am not going to be quite as busy!

But I can tell you this, so long as no one has any objections to it, it should be a Blue Mountains cruise, and the meeting time should be 9:30 am for a 10 am departure, and that the meeting spot will be at one of the landmarks along Windsor Road (I will make it at one of the more prominant ones so people don't miss it this time )

Happy driving people!

Me too, if needed. Do we have a list of possibles?

Although I feel more comfortable north of the city, there is apparently a really good drive from Dapto(?) to Bowral (Illawarra Hwy?). There is also that new bridge around the cliffs down there.

I was thinking a mountain drive might of been nice again (i class the last one as a practice run lol), cos seeing as it is summer, it will be cooller up there

it was a great drive for those of us who went (before we got rained on), nice winding roads and a higher speed most of the way!

i do know the road you are talking about though, it has been on tv a bit lately, but i forget the name...

I am interested... I just can't organise it... I have alot on lately...

Someone will need to find a suitable meeting point that is on the way for everyone, and a time to meet there Also an itinerary for the day!

It's the Sea Cliff Bridge that is in the National Park, the best place to go from is opposite Woolys Wheels at St Peters.

I am, but only on the 8th/9th, would not be able to make the following weekend.

What is a reasonable distance for the drive? 100km? 200km?

I'd say, providing the weather is good, a drive to the gong would be a good one... Whatever distance that was...

The distance to Katoomba the way I took people last time was perfect also
